Stroud Peace Fair

Stroud Peace Fair – ‘the antidote to arms fairs’ – were holding their inaugural two day event in various venues across Stroud town centre. The organisers, St Laurence: Stroud Centre for Peace and the Arts, needed publicity material to launch the event and promote it in the district and beyond.

Stroud Peace Fair’s aims are to showcase those working to reduce tensions, build justice, and resolve conflicts peacefully. The event was opened by a concert with choir event, followed by a keynote address by Prof. Danny Dorling, from Oxford University, expert led workshops, stand-up comedy and a ‘trade fair’ for peace organisations, screenings, activities, stalls by related organisations and a Q&A session with Dr. Simon Opher MP for Stroud.
